What I once believed was the beginning of something beautiful and grand is now slowly becoming end of another failure. And now I am just waiting, waiting, waiting until a glorious or dreadful event occurs. By my hand or his, I shall weep until there are no more tears left to be wept. However, I know it shall not be by my hand for I refuse to be the criminal once again. No more of that. It will be left up to him and him alone. It is his decision to make, not mine.
There will be much sorrow and regret but what's done is done and we must live with that fact for the rest of our lives. We will be left to ponder about that awful question of "what if?", a question I despise with a great passion. Once more, my head will ache and my heart will burn until I fall into a state of solitude for another hundred years or so.
What was the first movie you remember seeing in a movie theater?
Question submitted by mainmor.
I believe the first movie I saw in a theater was 101 Dalmatians with my cousin Richard. We were little and it was a Disney movie involoving talking animals, mainly dogs, so of course we loved it. After seeing that movie, the two of us would pretend that whatever car driving behind wherever we went was Cruella DeVil and we'd say, "Drive faster! Drive faster! Cruella is gonna get us! AAAHHH!!!"
Weren't we cute?
Do you have any tattoos? If not, if you were going to get inked, what would you get?
No, I don't have one though I am considering getting one some time this year. Tattoos seem awfully trendy these days. A lot of teens get a tattoo to be rebellious or be "unique" but everyone seems to get the same type of tattoo. Girls will often get a heart, star, or something small of that sort by their hip bone or a tribal, butterfly, or flower design on their lower back. Guys will often get a masculine or thug-looking design on their arms or back. Seriously now...get creative people!
I would want a tattoo that had meaning to it, not just some random picture or design. I'd like to design a tattoo for myself but I'm not that artistically talented so it would end up looking like crap.
However, last week I attempted to work on a design for a tattoo on my computer. (Yay for Photoshop!) It is a combination of four sketches by Kurt Halsey, my favorite artist, and I'm very happy with it. Quite a number of his fans get tattoos of his work but it's usually a firefly, a heart, a bird, or an angel. Although those tattoos can come out very cute, I wanted to steer away from those typical designs.
Even though I am pleased with the design, I'm still not certain about its placement or if I really want to get the tattoo done. Tattoos are basically permanent and I'm not sure if I can commit to that design yet.
Yesss Regina Spektor! And Christine (Cassis from BU...I think you guys might be LJ friends?) were talking about getting some... read more
